Here are the first drafts of my music magazine, front cover, contents page and double page spread. I would appreciate any feedback.
For example:
1) What age range do you think it is aimed at?
2)Features you like
3)Features you dont like
4)Opinion on the colour scheme
I would say it's aimed at the late teens, 17-18's? I like the colour scheme and the layout. It looks very professional and stylish. The font is easy to read and clear, the only part which is harder to read is 'live in London' because of the white in white. Also your main image of Jason looks a like it's a little rough around the edges, a blur would smooth that out. Hope this is what you're looking for.
ReplyDeleteThe House style makes the magazine look professional and gives it a distinct look that stands out. The direct mode of address in the main image is very effective at drawing the readers attention. The contents page follows the conventions of a music magazine very well. I really like the cutout of the front cover on the contents page. To improve this magazine I would suggest adding a stroke effect to the green font to make it more easily readable.
